Tiffany & Co. is pleased to announce its partnership with Dover Street Market and the release of the Out of Retirement™ collection. This collaboration marks the first time Tiffany has partnered with another retailer on a capsule collection. It will also be the first time Dover Street Market has partnered with an international jewelry house to launch a project of this magnitude in all its stores.
The limited edition collection is comprised of 18 pieces: eight jewelry designs and 10 gift items, each based on a design from the Tiffany Archives and created to put an unexpected twist on holiday gift-giving. In honor of this partnership, the signature white ribbon on the Tiffany Blue Box will be replaced with a black ribbon for all Out of Retirement™ packaging.
Conceived by Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons, Dover Street Market is a multi-brand retailer known for offering highly coveted limited edition collections. Since opening its first store in London in 2004, the brand has expanded internationally with locations in New York and Tokyo. The exclusive Out of Retirement™ designs will be showcased in installation spaces at Dover Street Market in New York, Ginza and London, with site-specific displays inspired by legendary Tiffany window designer Gene Moore.
