The Phoenix chapter re-envisions the mesmerizing Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Phoenix brooch from a modern design perspective with two suites evoking a flame’s warmer and cooler tones. Seen here is a brooch that captures a sense of warmth with a remarkable fire opal of over 29 carats, accented by unenhanced Umba sapphires, tsavorites and diamonds.
Evoking the wing-flame motifs of Jean Schlumberger’s Phoenix clip from 1947, these earrings in platinum and 18k yellow gold showcase two fiery rubellites of over 12 total carats. The motif is comprised of unenhanced Umba sapphires and diamonds.
Giving new life to Jean Schlumberger’s mythically inspired creation, one of the new Phoenix brooches evokes cooler hues with a black opal of over 28 carats, unenhanced sapphires, tsavorites and diamonds.
The Phoenix necklace was crafted over a span of approximately 1,400 hours and set with 17 cushion-cut rubellites of over 73 total carats, 590 round unenhanced Umba sapphires of over 46 total carats and 2,171 round brilliant diamonds of over 51 total carats.
